Adonidia Palm is one of the most attractive indoor plants that can be used in an interiorscape design. Its’ slender grey trunk is topped with bright green foliage throughout the year. This palm is also known as the Christmas Palm because of the red berries it produces during the holiday season.
Prefers full sun but can tolerate semi-shade. Give it a summer vacation outside in the shade to keep it healthy. Bring it back indoors before night temperatures begin falling to about 5-10 degrees Celsius.
Keep soil moderately moist by allowing the top to dry to the touch and then water until water runs out the bottom of the pot. Do not allow plant to sit in water.
For optimum plant health, fertilize with an all-purpose houseplant food April through October, following label directions. For all other months, fertilize half as often.
