Also called the Flamingo Plant, Anthurium is great for its cut flowers. Remove dead & unsightly foliage as it appears at the base of the plant. Remove any faded or brown flowers. For every leaf that an anthurium plant puts out, there is a flower to follow it!
As a rule, Anthurium will take about as much light as you can provide them with, but not direct sunlight. Lower levels of light will slow down or cease flower production.
Anthurium needs to be watered thoroughly and allowed to dry slightly before being watered again.
For optimum plant health, fertilize with an all-purpose houseplant food April through October, following label directions. For all other months, fertilize half as often.
